Questions

Can I trust it for direct quotes?

Use the transcript to find the quote, then check it against the recording before you publish. Names, numbers and crosstalk are where automatic transcription is most often wrong.

What does a 20-minute interview cost?

At 10¢ a minute that is $2, but a single file has a $3 minimum. A credit pack brings an hour down to about $4–6.

Is my recording private?

Files are deleted 7 days after the transcript is ready, or straight away when you click Delete. We never use them to train AI.
