Which formats can I cut?

Anything your browser can play: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, OPUS, WEBM, FLAC, and the audio of MP4 and MOV videos. You get an MP3 or WAV back.

How do I make a ringtone?

Select up to 30 seconds, turn on fade in and fade out, and save it as MP3. iPhone ringtones must be converted to M4R in GarageBand or iTunes afterwards.

Can I transcribe only part of a recording?

Yes. Cut the part you need, then press "Transcribe this part". You pay only for the minutes you keep, and the first 5 minutes are free.
