How do I get a Voice Memo off my iPhone?

In Voice Memos, tap the recording, tap the three dots, then Share and Save to Files (or AirDrop it to a computer). Then upload the M4A here.

Is my recording kept?

Files are deleted 7 days after the transcript is ready, or straight away when you click Delete. We never use them to train AI.
