Questions

How do I get a voice note out of WhatsApp?

On Android, long-press the voice note, tap Share and save it to Files or send it to yourself by email. On iPhone, long-press it, tap Forward, then the share icon, and choose Save to Files. Then upload that file here.

Which file types work?

WhatsApp saves voice notes as .opus files, sometimes .ogg. Upload them as they are; there is no need to convert them first.

Is it private?

Files are deleted 7 days after the transcript is ready, or straight away when you click Delete. We never use them to train AI.

What does it cost?

Pay per file from 10¢ a minute ($3 minimum), or buy a credit pack from $9. No subscription.
